Hectic Electric is a 3d architectural visualisation studio based in Worthing, UK.
We work predominantly with developers, architects and designers, specialising in creating imagery for planning applications, marketing and architectural competitions.
We have created illustrations for clients throughout the UK and Europe, working across public and private sectors. Providing images ranging from large-scale infrastructure projects through to domestic interventions and product design.
Established in 2000, Hectic Electric was founded by Stephen Sagi, having studied Architecture at South Bank University and the University of East London where he specialised in computing & design.
Stephen went on to work in Architectural practice and subsequently 3d broadcast graphics/illustration prior to forming Hectic Electric.
We produce high quality stills imagery and animation for developers, architects and designers, in-house design and construction expertise allows us to interpret and engage with any project from early stage feasibility design through to marketing and sales.
Whether photomontaged or wholly CGI our 3d Illustrations have successfully won planning applications, pre-let and sold property, elevated profiles in Architectural competitions and raised project funding for business and charitable organisations.
We specialise in Accurate visual representations (AVR's) also known as View Verified imagery - AVR's are static or moving images which show the location of a proposed development as accurately as possible.
AVR’s are produced by accurately combining views of the proposed building, with a representation of its context, usually a photograph or video sequence. They can be presented as either still or moving images in a variety of digital or printed formats.
Our AVR service includes photography, survey data, verified views and method statement as a single package. All AVR's are created using a consistent methodology and approach, complying fully with Appendix C of the London View Management Framework.
Our in-house photographic service ensures a 360 approach to our work. An integral part of our photomontages, whether regular or AVR, in-house photography allows us total flexibility and artistic freedom during the course of a project, especially pertinent in the production of AVR's where camera parameters and field notes are critical to the process.
For aerial or drone photography we collaborate with a trusted group of professionals fully trained, licenced and accredited to create background photography for our work.
Key to our montage work but often overlooked as a discipline in itself,
we undertake photo - retouching.
This could take the form of removing imperfections from a photograph, correcting colour, tone and brightness/contrast, even removing small or large elements from a photographic background, or adding elements that initially were not in the photograph.
